It is with pleasure and heart felt thanks for their continued service that I congratulate the Williston Junior Woman's Club. At Spring Convention, they were the happy recipients of the prestigious MARY CLARK AWARD. This award is given to the overall, outstanding Junior club in the State. The Williston Juniors certainly had stiff competition from Category 4 clubs (membership 31to 75) and Category 3 clubs (membership of 22-30). Williston, a Category 2 club, won this wonderful award with a club membership of only 19. This definitely shows us what a few dedicated members can do for a community!
Way to go Williston!
But wait....there is much to celebrate at the Gainesville clubhouse too! Congratulations Gainesville Junior Woman's Club for bringing home the EMMY in Category 1 (membership of 15 or less).
Four Emmys area awarded at Spring Convention -- one in each club category. How wonderful to have not one, but two, fabulous groups of women working toward making Florida Federation great!
